Meditation For Childrens

Meditation for the child in all of us.

This site is for the young at heart and the young in mind. We hope you will like it.
A downloadable radio quality audio file (mp3) of each class and guided meditation has been created for you to listen to, click on the links within each class.
A word for the grown-ups.

Meditation is easy for children.

Many great meditation masters ask their adult students to be more like children so they will meditate better.

What is meditation for children?

We meditate to find and listen to our heart.

Our heart is the real home of us. When we can listen to our heart, we automatically feel love and joy, but also we will know what we can be.

Do you ever get sad? Do you sometimes worry too much over silly things? Do you get angry and lose your temper? What would you say, if I was to tell you that meditation will help you become the happiest person in the world? Would you be willing to try it for the next 10 days for at least 5 minutes?
It isn't a trick. In 10 days you will see the change in yourself.
When you are ready, you can try a meditation exercise here for your age group. You can try the other age groups as well, as the ages are only a guide. You can even try the rest of our online classes for grownups when you have been meditating for a few weeks - but we wanted to get you started with something we thought would work more easily for you. You'll find that no matter the age group the exercises are enjoyable and very powerful.

Meditation & Advanced Exercises

INTRODUCTION
awar Welcome to the study of Chios Meditation. Your decision to learn meditation is a good one. The method of meditation taught as part of the Chios system is an excellent all-around meditation method, and may provide many lifelong benefits to you. It is an important practice for the energy field healer as well, and leads to many of the abilities necessary in healing. In addition, after learning this basic meditation technique you can progress to the advanced exercises in the remainder of this site section—exercises in Self-Knowledge and Self-Realization that will accelerate your spiritual growth and foster the advanced abilities useful in healing work. Learning and practicing the Chios Meditation technique is the beginning and foundation of that beneficial process.
Meditation is the practice of pure awareness. Underneath the manifold experiences, thoughts and actions in which we all engage in our day-to-day life lies a state of pure awareness—pure consciousness—which is the source of all that we are and all that we experience. This field of pure consciousness is also the source of many higher abilities in us which often lie unnoticed and undeveloped. Through the practice of meditation it is possible to come into greater conscious
eness of this deeper reality. Thereby, we do not merely come into greater awareness and understanding of the true nature of ourselves and everything we experience, but we also access many abilities within us that ordinarily lie hidden, through our gaining the ability to rest within and tap the latent powers contained in this state of pure consciousness. The goal of meditation is to cultivate a state of greater conscious connection to this larger spiritual reality, to the realm of pure consciousness, and meditation is perhaps the fundamental spiritual practice.
The practice of meditation does not “take anything away” from our everyday life, but rather, enables us to become aware and act in a more truly complete manner—a manner which encompasses more of the greater reality in which we live. It also enables us, as we practice the art of energy field healing, to become more aware of the condition of the energy field of our patient, as well as more effective and powerful in our healing abilities, as we seek to perform healing treatment. Chios Meditation will give you the means to foster this deeper awareness and develop these higher conscious abilities, through your regular practice of a meditation technique that over time will allow you to develop and cultivate this awareness and these powers in yourself. It is important that you study the specific technique used in this meditation method (and in the advanced exercises that follow) carefully to be certain that, right from the beginning, you are performing the techniques correctly. Support is available, if you need it. This will ensure that as you progress you will have the potential to develop and enjoy the greater awareness and conscious abilities that lie within you, waiting to be discovered.

How to Meditate

 How to Meditate
With the hectic pace and demands of modern life, many people feel stressed and over-worked. It often feels like there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Our stress and tiredness make us unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It can even affect our health. We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A simple ten or fifteen minute breathing meditation as explained below can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance.
Meditation can also help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy. Overcoming negative minds and cultivating constructive thoughts is the purpose of the transforming meditations found in the Buddhist tradition. This is a profound spiritual practice you can enjoy throughout the day, not just while seated in meditation.

On this website you can learn the basics of Buddhist meditation. A few books are mentioned that will help you to deepen your understanding if you wish to explore further. Anyone can benefit from the meditations given here, Buddhist or not. We hope that you find this website useful and that you learn to enjoy the inner peace that comes from meditation.

EASY WAY FOR YOU

Success Stories - LifeFlow Meditation -3

"My grades have improved"

I started using LifeFlow a little over a year ago. I am in Nursing School, work 2 jobs and have a family. This translates to by the end of the day my patience begins to run very thin.

I have noticed since I have began using LifeFlow meditation that I am more patient with my family, patients at work and my grades have improved.

I use LifeFlow in the morning, before I get out of bed, usually at lunch in the car, and always at bedtime. This helps my stress level immensely and I am calm enough to go to bed at night.

I used to suffer from insomnia but this has helped with it and I almost never have a restless night.

I also began to have arthritis in my hands, the meditaiton does help me to be able to better deal with the pain that I have in my hands.

I have to say that I could type all day and not be able to list the wonderful things that meditation has given me. I am truly thankful that there is a program out there that has helped me with so many different aspects of my life, and thank you Micheal for creating it.

"The peace I am gaining from more consistent practice is like no other"

I would like to say that I was a little skeptical at first that a modern product could live up to the testimonials and have a positive impact on my life. But as the initial sample download was free I thought I would give it a try.

I enjoyed sitting peacefully with the 14 minute sample for several days and then decided to purchase the course on a monthly download basis.

Now the other things that to me have been almost as important as the product have been the customer service support and the Project Meditation Community along with the regular support via email.

The project meditation community is a fascinating forum. Many people all at different levels of the course, different ages, cultures etc.. all sharing experiences and answering each others questions.

This is a major benefit of meditating with Lifeflow, you feel so much more at ease in your life to share with others and when this is done through the forum it is magnified by everyone doing the same.

With project meditation you just know, deep down, you can trust and that is something that enables you to relax, open up and enjoy the many varied wonderous benefits of Lifeflow itself.

I am sure there are many people with more exciting benefits from Lifeflow and many who have been more diligent in their mediation with Lifeflow than I have previously (which is no doubt why they have more benefits!) but from my experience I can say the peace I am gaining from more consistent practice is like no other I have experienced before, deep, understanding, beautiful.

"I see life in a much better and beautiful way"
It has been 10 months so far since I started meditating for the first time and, since day one; I could feel only GOOD THINGS happening in my body, my mood and the way I see things around me and most important…. how I react to things.

I Must tell you (as a way to say thanks) …Lifeflow is a great product and it has become part of my daily routine….. I’m now using Lifleflow 2 and all levels have been great (gets better after each level by the way…) J

I used to live really stressed and my behavior could change immediately if things did not go the way I expected so, I started looking for alternatives to calm myself and live happier so a friend of mine recommended me some videos of Deepack Chopra and Wayne Dyer.

Both of them encourage you to MEDITATE as one of the most important ways to find the inner peace for a happier life… For this reason, I looked over the internet and found your page… EXCELLENT !!

I read what you offer… read what the people say in the community ….all of them were very positive about meditation and LIFEFLOW as the tool to learn and help you through entrainment waves to get to a deeper states of mind.

I ordered the program, followed the instructions and started meditating after a week. WOW!!!... excellent experience.

I totally recommend everyone Lifelflow… just give it a try, take it seriously and do it DAILY (even if it is only 5 or 10min..) and you would see results. I have learned that everyone has it’s own results and really important is to let it go and expect nothing.. just enjoy it…. And it does work!

Support and service from you is great and for this I have to thank you.

Michael, Thanks for helping me live a much happier life.

I have just started my own business. I now see and realize that I have a huge potential success in what I am doing and have time for my wife and daughter. I see life in a much better and beautiful way and yes.. it is a lot of good things inside each one of us (just we have to give time to ourselves).

The Joy of Cycles for you

Begin: Shivasana - Laying down, heels together, arms by your side, palms facing upward. With each exhale let your entire body melt through the floor. Let go and melt until every cell in your body is completely relaxed, alowing each to cell melt over the next. Give yourself a few minutes. Now melt even more!

Next: Roll to your left side and stand.

Surya Namaskar (The Sun Salutation*) includes 12 different positions, they are:

EXHALE
1 - Inhale and maintain the position as shown in figure in standing position with hands joined together near chest, feet together and toes touching each other.

INHALE
2 - Raise the arms upward. Slowly bend backward, stretching arms above the head.

EXHALE
3 - Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend) Exhale and bend forward in the waist till palms touch the ground in line with the toes. Don't bend knees while performing. At first you may find it difficult to attain the ideal position but try to bend as much as possible without bending in knees.

INHALE
4 - Inhale and take the left leg back with left toes on the floor, press the waist downwards and raise the neck, stretch the chest forward and push shoulders backwards. Keep the right leg and both the hands in the same position. Keep the right leg folded.

HOLD THE BREATH
5 - Adho Mukha Svanasana Hold the breath and raise the knee of left leg. Take the right leg backwards and keep it close to the left leg. Straighten both the legs and both hands. Keep the neck straight and site fixed. Keep both the toes erect. Take care that the neck, spine, thighs and the feet are in a straight line. - "Dog Facing Down"

EXHALE
6 - Ashtanga Exhaling bend both the hands in elbows and touch forehead on the ground, touch the knees on the ground, keep both the elbows close to chest. The forehead, chest, both the palms, both the toes, knees should touch the ground and rest of the body not touching the floor. Since only eight parts rest on the ground , it is called "Ashtanga" position.

INHALE
7 - Naga asana Inhale and straighten the elbows, stretch the shoulders upwards, press the waist downwards but don't bend the arms. Keep the knees and toes on the floor. Push the neck backwards and look upwards.

HOLD THE BREATH
8 - Hold the breath, bend the neck downwards and press the chin in the throat, push the body backwards and touch the heels on the ground, raise the waist upwards, do not move the palms on the floor.

HOLD THE BREATH
9 - Hold the breath as in position 8, bring the left leg to the front and place it in between the hands while the right foot stays in place with the right knee and right toes touch the ground.

EXHALE
10 - Exhale and bring the right leg forward as in position 3 and place it in between both the arms.

INHALE
11 - Raise the arms upward. Slowly bend backward, stretching arms above the head.

EXHALE
12 - Hands joined together near chest, feet together and toes touching each other.

Optional Repeat: Roll to your left side and stand...
Completing 1 Cycle:
Shivasana - Laying down, heels together, arms by your side, palms facing upward, breath in and out, letting your entire body melt through the floor. Learning Meditation.

Welcome to Learning Meditation. I hesitate to use the word meditation. To me, as well as many others, the word "meditation" conjures up the picture of a bearded man sitting cross legged in front of an entrance to a cave or high on a mountain top. Climbing the mountain and reaching him is part of the arduous journey toward self fulfillment, self improvement. Once we find him we ask, "What is the meaning of life?" or "How do we achieve peace in ourselves and our lives?" This all-knowing man tells us the answers are "inside ourselves" and tells us to go and contemplate. I don't know if that answer was worth the journey!

Well, I am not a wise man on a mountain. I am just like you involved in life and work, seeking more serenity and calm in my life. I am still learning to do it better, using meditation as a guide on my journey. I invite you to take this journey yourselves. I invite you to use meditation to find the answers to your questions.
